Mercedes-Benz sales witnesses the most successful month ever


In the 1st quarter of this year, the GLC SUV became their best-selling car. The unit sales were also 33.4 percent higher compared to the last year’s record

The past March, as well as this quarter, became the best-selling period of Mercedes-Benz ever with a myriad of unit sales records set worldwide.

It is reported that 237,307 Mercedes-Benz cars have been sold in March alone. This number welcomes a new sales record which surpasses the record from the previous year month by 3.9 percent officially, becoming the strongest March sales ever of the brand.

Also, the last quarter was the strongest quarter in Mercedes-Benz sales’ history as they reach 594,304 car buyers (+6.0 percent).

The most remarkable sales margins come from Europe when it reached a total of 109,252 units last month and 238,131 in the 1st quarter. (+2.1 percent).

In the 1st quarter, Portugal, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, Spain, and Frace also made their new unit sales records.

Hectic car-buying in Asia

Unit sales in the Asia Pacific also rose significantly making a new record selling 88,976 MBs in March (+13.1 percent)

Aside from China, Malaysia, India, and South Korea also witnessed a hectic quarter of car buyers in these countries with new records. Thai customers bought more cars than the prior year quarter as well.
