The Hyundai Accent is built as a sub-compact four-wheel drive vehicle by Hyundai. The subcompact car goes by the name Hyundai Verna, in South Korea. It started production from 1994 to present and has built various Accent model years. Hyundai Accent has gone through 5 generations till present under different names as:

4.4. Fourth generation of Hyundai Accent (2010 – present)

This fourth generation of Hyundai Accent retained the 4-door (sedan) and 5-door (hatchback) bodystyle. And now, it has two versions of the engine: Petrol and Diesel. Both versions use 1.4L I4 and 1.6L I4 engines, paired with manual and automatic gearbox. It also has a CVT automatic transmission.

Each generation improved the looks and style of the Hyundai Accent. As part of Hyundai’s 2017 move to usher in the fifth generation Hyundai Accent model in 2018, the model was simplified to one grade named Sport.

This Sports model featured premium interior materials, optional 6-speed auto, cruise control and 16 alloy wheels.

At present, this is the last generation of the Accent model. The sedan and hatchback body styles were retained here while introducing a station wagon body style in China. In the U.S market, however, the hatchback version has been stopped. This fifth generation model isn’t available in South Korea.
